A Hot Day

Today I woke up around 7:13. I went out of my room and no one was outside, usually my father was already reading newspaper on the sofa. I went to open the window to let some air get in and I also open the door. There was newspapers at the door, I took the newspapers and put it on the shelf. Then I went to choose a book to read. After a while my father was awake. He started to read a newspaper. Now it was already 7:55 when my brother woke up. He wanted to play with his bowling pins and the ball. My father told him that if he want to play with it, he must play with it on the carpet. The neighbours living down stairs do not like so much noise in the morning. When my mother woke up we went to eat our breakfast. Next we went to Selatar Reservoir for a walk. It was so hot! It felt like when I step out of the car it started rain! We went to climb the tower first. When I climb the spiral staircase it made me a little dizzy. And we also walked a long long way. When we walked back, I saw a playground. My parents agree to let us play a while at the playground. The time went by so fast. Soon it was time to go home, but my brother did not want to go! My father let us play for a few more minutes and we went home. It was so hot and above my head was like a invisible cloud with little raindrops dripping onto my head!

A exhausted day

I woke up at 7.33 today. My brother already woke up and my father already gone for work. After my mother and I send my brother to school, we came back home and my mother told me to wear my sport shoes. After that we did some stretching and off we went to jog. We walked to the starting point and my mother told me that is our ending point too. My mother told not to jog so fast or I will be exhausted. I did not listen and jog so fast when have not even finish haft circle I was already exhausted. The sun was shining so brightly in the sky. Now I could not catch up with my mother. I started to walk, it grew more pain at every step. At last I was at the ending point. We walked home slowly and we talked happily.

At the Theatre

Today I went to the theatre to watch a movie, RATATOUILLE. It started at 11:45. It was very interesting. There was a rat named Remmy and his big brother, Elime. On day, Remmy steal some things in a old woman's house. The old woman woke up and took her gun and tried to shoot it at Remmy.She shoot to much ballet at the roof and her house collapse. Remmy's colony who was living on it's attic. Elime and Remmy's father shouted:"TO THE BOAT". The colony all rushed to the boat accept Remmy slowly carrying a book, the old woman hardly notice him..........

A Wet Day

Today I woke up at 7:35 today and my bro woke up at 7:40, 5 minutes after me. First I took my blanket and close my eyes for about 1 minute until my bro started tagging my blanket. I pulled my blanket back and he went to my mother's room and took hers. He then came into my room again and he cover himself with the blanket from top to bottom which makes him look like a ghost. He crawled all over his bed until he hit the well with a loud 'bong'. That woke up my parents up and my father told us that he is bringing us to the Upper Pierce Reservoir. We went to Jalan Kayu to have roti prata as our breakfast and it was delicious. Next we all went to Upper Pierce Reservoir to ride our bicycles. My mother rode a big bicycle and my bro & I rode a medium one. My father did not ride a bicycle because we only have three. We rode in a path that was blocked by a barrier but there are also other people going in too. We rode up the slope (huff puff huff puff) and we went down the slope (weeee...). After we rode back to the main road, I did not want to ride my bicycle anymore and my father help to put it back on the car. As I was tired of all those riding, I sat on a bench with my father and relaxed (ahhh). My bro wanted to ride some more so my mother continue riding with him. After my bro and mom came back, it was time to go home. My father was driving when I saw some monkeys along the road. After we reached him me,my bro and my father went to take a shower but my mother did not take a shower because she did not really sweat. We went to Compass Point to have our lunch. I wanted mix vegetable rice for sharing with my bro and my mom and dad wanted porridge. My dad went to order the mix vegetable rice, and my mom went to order 2 bowls of porridge. The queue of the porridge stall was very very long so my mother had to wait very long till it is her turn. After she came back from the stall, me and my brother had already finished our rice. We were bored and our mom told us that we could go to the library while they are eating. We walked to the library and read a book 'up,up,up' which was very funny. Our parents told that it was time to leave the library and we went to Cold Storage to buy some apples before we go home. It was a very fun day and also a very tiring one after all the bicycle riding!

A trip to the Zoo

Last Friday, my mother brought us to the zoo. We saw lots of animals, some are small and some are Enormous. We saw ponys, lions, monkeys, tigers, horses, an anteater, giraffes

rabbits, goats and many others. We saw a crow pecking its beck on a fat pig's back. We went to children's world for lunch at KFC. After our lunch, my mother allowed us to spend some time at the playground. First I went to the swing and play there for a few minutes, next I went to the slide with my brother. The slide tickled me on my bottom so I went giggling all the way down the slide. Next we went to the ballpool.(it was actually meant for kids below 1.2m)My bro and I played in the ballpool for more than 30 minutes. After all the fun we went to see a few more animals and went back home. It was definitely a fun day.

New Girl in My Class

Today we had a new girl joining our class. Her name is Shu Hui but she said her nick name is Candy. I think she will be here for two weeks. She is a Singaporean but was born in Hong Kong where she studied in the Singapore International School there. Now their school is having holidays and she will be in primary 3 when she return. Ameline will be her buddy and will show her around the school.

Sunday - 22nd July 2007

I woke up at 7:25am today. My brother woke up earlier than me. I found him sitting on the sofa, so I asked him if he wanted to play TIPOVER with me. He said "yes", and we played for a while before we played with cards till our parents woke up.

We went to Jalan Kayu for Roti Prata. After breakfast, we went to MacRitchie Reservoir to have a walk. My dad always said fresh air is good for us, so he likes to bring us to Reservoirs and parks on weekends. We saw squirrels, monkeys and moniter lizards. We left the reservoir at about 12:00pm, it was a relaxing outing though a little boring. I hope my dad can bring me to Sentosa next time.(hahaha!)

RACiAL HARMONY DAY

On Racial Harmony Day some people wear traditional clothes. Some wear Malay costumes and Indian costumes, and some wear Chinese costumes.

When we celebrated Racial Harmony Day in school, Melody wore a modern Chinese costume. It was very beautiful as it has many flowers on it. Some of my classmates didn't wear theirs to school, but its okay as long as some of us did. When it was time for assembly, we watched three shows performed by students from another school. Next we put our hands on our heart and recited the pledge. After I sit down I began looking at other people's costumes and they all look very nice. The teacher allowed us to go back home early, and my mummy and I had a yummy lunch together.
